If you want to have a Japanese patent or utility model document translated, just send us the document number - the application (shutsugan) number, the unexamined "laid-open" publication (kokai) number, the examined publication (kokoku) number or the registered patent (toroku) number. We can get a copy of the Japanese document very quickly (usually in 10 minutes via the internet) and will send you a translation offer with an exact price and delivery time. A pdf copy of the original Japanese document is included in the translation price and will be delivered with the completed translation.
If you need to know the present status of a given Japanese patent application, send us any of the relevant numbers (see above) and we will return by e-mail a detailed status report in about an hour, with translation of the file history and the present status. If required, we will also send you a pdf copy of the most recent publication of the application with the status report.
